Southside Regional Referral Program

Policy

Southside Regional Medical Center will encourage its employees to make employment referrals by supporting a program that rewards employees that successfully aid in filling open positions.

Purpose

To assist in the filling of open positions throughout the hospital.

Procedure

  1. Eligibility:
    1. All employees are eligible except for Senior Management, employed physicians, Human Resource employees, the hiring manager for the position and/or any other managers in the hiring approval chain for that position.
    2. All open full-time and part-time positions will be included. (does not include PRN positions)
    3. Students of our school cannot refer one another.
    4. Cannot refer SRMC Students.
    5. Employees can not refer someone already employed with a sister facility.
    6. If an outside recruiter is involved, employees cannot receive referral.
  2. Responsibility:
    1. A referral form must be submitted for approval prior to initial interview.
    2. Referral forms are only good for 60 days from date on referral form.
  3. Rewards:
    1. Employees that make a “successful” referral will receive the following:
      Staff RN ( Full time) $3,500

      Rewards will be paid based on the following: (both parties must be actively employed at time of payment)

      1. 50% upon successful completion of the 90 day introductory period,
      2. 50% upon successful completion of 1 year of employment.
